In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, protesting against urinating on the road proved costly for a person. Five drunk people beat him to death. The accused attacked him with a brick until he became unconscious. A case has been registered on the complaint of the family. Police is searching for the accused. It is claimed that everyone will be caught soon.

The deceased has been identified as 47-year-old Amit Kumar Gupta. He was a resident of Naveen Nagar. He returned home after closing his shop on Saturday night. Outside the house he saw some people urinating on the road and drinking alcohol. The family told that when they interrupted, the accused started arguing with them. The matter escalated so much that everyone surrounded him and attacked him.

According to media reports, auto businessman Amit Kumar Gupta was standing in the market outside his house. Then four drunk people started urinating there. Amit opposed this and said that houses have been built here. Angered by this, the accused attacked him. He threw him on the ground and started beating him mercilessly.

Died due to serious head injury

Amit became unconscious due to serious head injury. The family members somehow took him to the hospital. Where he died after two days of treatment. The incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed outside the house. Police registered the case 72 hours after the incident. Not a single accused has been arrested yet.

Rudra Pratap Singh, son of the deceased, says that the accused abused his father. After that there was a fight. When some people tried to intervene, the accused tried to attack them too.

Accused seen in CCTV footage

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Atul Srivastava says that the police have interrogated about a dozen people. Teams are busy searching for the accused. In the CCTV footage, four to five people are seen attacking Kumar. Police have registered the case on the family's complaint. The family demanded action against the accused.
