The body of a youth missing for the last four days was found in the Banas river which passes through the border of Kumpat-Malgarh village of Disa taluka, causing a great stir in the whole division. As soon as the incident was reported, the Disa Rural Police team immediately reached the spot and took legal action. According to the information received, a youth named Prakashbhai Rameshji Majirana had been missing from his home for the last four days under mysterious circumstances. The family searched all possible places for his relatives, but after finding no trace, finally filed a missing person’s complaint at the Disa taluka police station.
Meanwhile, a mountain of grief fell on the family as Prakashbhai’s dead body was found in the Banas river near Kumpat-Malgarh village today. The brother of the deceased said in a heavy voice, “Prakashbhai was missing from home for the last four days. We searched everywhere but could not find any address and filed a complaint at the taluka police station. Today, we are deeply saddened to find his dead body in the banks of the Banas river. We demand that the police conduct a proper and impartial investigation into the matter.”
As soon as the incident was reported, the Disa Rural Police reached the spot and took possession of the dead body and attempted to move it for post-mortem. Whether the youth died due to accidental drowning or any other reason, the police have started further investigation to find out the true cause of death.
