PF Advance New Rule: Rules for advance withdrawal, know under what circumstances how many times money can be withdrawn

PF Advance New Rule: Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has given big relief to the employed employees. Some important changes have been made in the rules to PF advance. EPFO has issued ‘A to Z’ guidelines on its official social media handle and has told how many times the members will be able to withdraw money for their different needs. EPFO has made the process of withdrawing money from PF account quite transparent and easy for its members.
These new rules have been implemented under the ‘Employees’ Provident Fund Scheme, 2026′ notified by the Ministry of Labor and Employment. The process of making advance claim has been kept in 3 different categories. Let us know in detail how much advance the employees can now withdraw.
How much advance will employees be able to withdraw?
Now the process of withdrawing advance has become easier for the employees than before. According to the new rules of EPFO, the eligibility to withdraw advance has now been made uniform for all categories of members. Now members can withdraw maximum 75% of the total amount deposited in their PF account as advance. The condition for withdrawing this will be that your EPFO membership must have been completed for at least one year. The remaining 25 percent money will remain in your PF account only.
Under what circumstances can advance be withdrawn?
You will not be able to withdraw advance money from PF to fulfill your hobbies. In fact, you will be able to withdraw it in certain circumstances. If you or someone in your family is ill, there is no limit on the number of times you can withdraw PF advance for treatment. If you have a wedding of your own or of your siblings or children, then for that you will be able to withdraw advance from your account maximum 5 times.
You will be able to withdraw PF advance a maximum of 10 times during your entire job for children’s higher education or education expenses. At the same time, if you want to buy a new house, flat or land and house etc. then also you can withdraw money from your job up to 5 times. In special or emergency circumstances notified by the Central Board of Trustees (CBT), employees can claim advance amount maximum twice in a financial year.
