Lucknow. With assembly elections approaching in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has given a big message about her organization and mission. In a statement issued by the party, targeting former Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Siddharth, it has been said that he still has a chance to give up his political ambitions and completely retire from politics. According to BSP, if this happens, it will be possible for his son-in-law Akash Anand to work independently in the party and giving back his responsibilities can be considered sympathetically.

Accused of putting personal interest above mission
BSP alleged that the party gave many chances to Ashok Siddharth for reform, but he gave more importance to personal and family interests and ambitions than the Bahujan mission. The party says that along with Ashok Siddharth, his son-in-law Akash Anand has also had to suffer the consequences.
The statement said that Ashok Siddharth, in his personal interest, did not care enough about Akash Anand and the BSP movement. According to the party, more renunciation, penance and sacrifice was expected from him than others, but it did not happen.

Mayawati said that assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab are very near. According to the party, these three states have special importance for the Bahujan Samaj and Bahujan Movement. Party workers, officials, supporters and well-wishers are working with full force to gain power in these states.
At present, the party and Bahujan Samaj are facing many challenges from opposition parties and casteist elements. Appealing to all sections of the society for cooperation, he asked all sections of the Bahujan community, including the Dalit community, not to take any step for personal or family interest, which would affect the interests of the movement.
Strict stance regarding discipline
Mayawati said that the top leadership is including misguided people in the organization keeping in mind their conduct and behaviour. At the same time, disciplinary action is also being taken against those who become obstacles in the path of the party. In the statement, Ashok Siddharth has been cited as a famous example of this.

Mayawati has also hinted at Akash Anand's future role by linking it to Ashok Siddharth's decision. If Ashok Siddharth retires from politics and rises above personal interests and political ambitions, then it will be possible for Akash Anand to work independently in the party. In such a situation, the party can sympathetically consider giving back his responsibilities to Akash Anand, so that he can play an active role in the organization again.
