Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached Sagar District Hospital on Wednesday evening and met the admitted patients to know their condition. On this occasion, he said that strict action should be taken in cases of deaths due to illicit liquor. No culprit should be spared.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave instructions to maintain law and order in the meeting of public representatives, police and administrative officials in the auditorium of Bundelkhand Medical College, Sagar. He said that the state government is working on the policy of zero tolerance towards crime and anti-social activities.

He said that de-addiction campaign should also be conducted in the district, so that such incidents do not recur. Action should be taken to confiscate illegal liquor material in the area. He also expressed his condolences to the deceased

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed the officials that an intensive investigation campaign should be conducted in the district as well as in the surrounding and border areas.

He said that wherever there is scope for suspicion or suspicious activity, it should be investigated promptly and strict action should be taken.

He told the officials that it is essential to maintain fairness and transparency in the entire process. Strictest action should be taken against criminals, but it is necessary to ensure that no action is taken against any innocent person.

Take strict action against those spreading rumors
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed to keep a close watch on the elements spreading unnecessary rumors on social media or various other mediums with the intention of disturbing peace and harmony and take strict punitive measures against them.

Anti-drug campaign will be carried out by taking the society along
The Chief Minister laid special emphasis on accelerating the anti-drug campaign in the state. He said that the illegal drug trade should be completely destroyed.

Also, effective programs for public awareness and de-addiction should be conducted by involving voluntary organizations and social organizations working in the field of de-addiction.

There is a provision for strict law in the state
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that during our government, during the time of former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, a strict law was made in which section 49 and the rest 304 were added and there is a provision for giving punishment ranging from murder to life imprisonment and death.

Strict action will be taken against those involved in this type of incident. We have given a free hand to the administration to take the harshest action against those who have illegal encroachments or who have run their empire in this manner.

Everyone needs to work together to get rid of drug addiction
He said that we have issued instructions in the entire state that there is a need to run drug de-addiction campaigns along with religious institutions, social institutions as well as the government at different levels. We all will need commitment at the social level to deal with this.

The Chief Minister visited the hospital wards to inquire about the condition of the affected people and consoled the families.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reached Bundelkhand Medical College, Sagar to provide immediate relief and console the affected people of Banda’s illegal liquor case.

He visited the wards of the hospital to inquire about the well-being of the admitted patients and interacted with the families of the victims. He told the family that the government is with you in every situation.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited each patient and saw their health condition. Asked the family members of the victims – “Who is there in the family? Don’t worry, the government stands with you in every situation.”

During the inspection, the Chief Minister has instructed the Dean, Superintendent and senior doctors in charge of BMC to provide the best treatment to the victims. Instructions were also given to ensure deployment of essential medicines, tests and experts 24 hours a day.

16 accused arrested, reward on 17
In the Sagar poisonous liquor case, the police have so far arrested 16 out of 33 accused in the case. During interrogation, information to preparation, packing and supply network of illegal liquor in rural areas has come to light.

Investigation has revealed the role of Manish Lodhi alias Yashwant Thakur, resident of Banda, the licensed contractor of Barethi liquor shop. According to the police, he was in contact with interstate liquor smuggler Ravi Lakhera.

Illegal liquor was prepared after getting the method and formula for making liquor from Lakhera. A reward of Rs 20,000 each has been announced on the absconding main accused Manish Lodhi and Ravi Lakhera. There is a reward of Rs 10,000 each on the remaining 15 absconding accused.

Fake liquor was prepared in the field
According to the police, 164 quarters of Sagar Gold Plain liquor, 27 liters of non-standard liquor and materials used in manufacturing and packing were found from the farm of Sarpanch Chandrabhan alias Chandu Rajput of Tatrawara village.

Investigation revealed that on September 2, about 50 boxes of fake liquor in the name of ‘Sagar Gold’ was prepared in Chandu’s maize field.

It was delivered to the surrounding villages through salesmen. Police have seized more than 252.12 liters of liquor in two cases of Banda and Vinayaka police stations.
