Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati had a few days ago removed her nephew Akash Anand from all party posts. This was the third time he had clipped Akash's wings. After this, Akash Anand had written himself as a BSP worker and then a supporter on his X profile. On Wednesday, Mayawati put a condition on social media that if Akash Anand's father-in-law and former Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Siddharth retires from politics, then taking back Akash Anand can be considered. Now Ashok Siddharth has also defended himself by writing a social media post. However, Ashok Siddharth has written in the end that if Bahujan Mission is being harmed because of him, then he is retiring from political and social life.

Just a week ago, Mayawati had written that Akash Anand still needs to mature more. Then, remembering Kanshi Ram, he had said that the missionary goal of making 'the exploited class the ruling class' by BSP and the movement is paramount and to achieve this great goal, he personally neither has anyone close to him nor anyone else. Later there were reports that party leaders were asked to unfollow Akash Anand on social media.

It seemed that Mayawati was going to keep Akash Anand away from the party for a long time this time too. However, within a week, signs of softness have now clearly emerged from both sides. According to media reports, it was already agreed that Ashok Siddharth would have to step aside only then Akash Anand would return. After this, Mayawati posted a condition on social media and now Ashok Siddharth has accepted it.

What did Ashok Siddhartha write?

At the end of his long letter, Siddharth Ashok has written, 'Respected sister, you are an embodiment of sacrifice and kindness. When it came to the welfare of the society, you also gave up the post of Chief Minister and the post of Rajya Sabha member. You are not only our guide but also our ideal and if today you feel that my being in political and social life is harming the Bahujan Mission built by our saints, gurus and great men, then I am retiring from political and social life right now. Respected sister, I owe my life to you, in such a situation, renunciation is a very small thing for you, even if I ever have to give up my life, that too would be a matter of pride for me.

In the same letter, he has written, 'I swear on Honorable Kanshi Ram ji that I have never done anything against the interest of the party and I cannot even dream of doing anything against you. Leave aside giving advice to Akash ji, I even met him on a few occasions in the last several months when his programs were organized in the states for which you had given me the responsibility.

Ashok Siddharth has further written, 'Sister, some of our party colleagues, because of the respect I have received from you, accuse me that I want to take over the party, I am trying to mislead Honorable Akash Anand ji. There is not even an iota of truth in this! Respected sister, I am telling you with a humble request that this is a conspiracy of my political opponents, who are involved in anti-party activities and its truth will definitely come out in front of you one day or the other. I request you not to connect my retirement with the return of Akash. He is your nephew and son of Anand Bhai Saheb before my son-in-law. It is your decision to give the responsibility back to them or not! By linking this with my retirement, you are giving more importance to a humble worker like me than his status.

What condition did Mayawati keep?

BSP Chief Mayawati had written in her The party gave him many opportunities to improve but he gave importance to ambition along with personal and family interests and Akash Anand is having to suffer the consequences of this. In such a situation, keeping in mind the future of Akash Anand, Ashok Siddharth still has a chance to completely retire from politics.

He further wrote, 'In such a situation, it will be possible for Akash Anand to work in the party freely and only then the party will consider sympathetically giving back his responsibilities. The general opinion of the party is that he should play an active role in the party.

Let us tell you that in the meantime, Mayawati has made Akash Anand's younger brother Ishaan Anand the main sector in-charge of the party and has given him the responsibility of North India. He will look after the functioning of the organization of 15 states except Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
