Hyundai Motor India has taken another important step towards strengthening the charging network for electric vehicles. The company has launched a new DC fast charging station of 120 kW capacity in Delhi. These chargers have been developed in partnership with charging network company Static, and the MyHyundai app is available to use them.
Hyundai currently operates 185 DC fast charging stations across 105 cities in the country. Chargers of 60 kW to 240 kW capacity are available in this network. This expansion of the company is important to provide EV users with more convenient charging options during long-distance journeys in the future.

The company aims to expand its own charging network to 600 stations by 2030. This will include major cities, highways and Hyundai dealerships. Apart from this, the MyHyundai app provides information on more than 38,000 charging points in partnership with various charging operators. Customers can find chargers, navigate to locations, book slots and make digital payments from this app.
Interestingly, Hyundai has announced free charging for its EV customers from September 9 to September 11, 2026. The facility, given on the occasion of World EV Day, will be applicable at Hyundai's own public charging stations. However, the charging session must be booked through the MyHyundai app. This facility is limited to Hyundai's EVs only.

The company also plans to set up 650 EV-ready workshops.
