BSP supremo Mayawati has reacted to Ashok Siddharth's announcement of retirement from politics. He said that Akash Anand has now been made completely independent from the party. Mayawati also accused Akash and his father-in-law Ashok Siddharth of putting personal and family interests above the party.

Tezzbuzz Desk- Former Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Ashok Siddharth has announced his retirement from politics. He gave this information on social media platform X on Thursday. After this decision, BSP supremo MayaavTi made a big announcement regarding Akash Anand.

Mayawati said that Ashok Siddharth's retirement from politics is the right step, although this decision was taken very late. He also said that if Ashok had already distanced himself from politics, BSP, Bahujan Movement and Akash Anand would not have had to face many difficulties.

Mayawati said in her statement that Akash Anand has now been made completely independent from the party. He said that Akash was relieved of the responsibilities of the post of National Coordinator on September 3, 2026 and now he has also been made independent from the party.

According to Mayawati, if Akash Anand wants to remain independent in the party then he can do so. That means now he will not be forced to take any responsibility or post from BSP.

Ashok made serious allegations against Siddharth

Regarding Ashok Siddharth's decision, Mayawati said that if he was worried about his son-in-law Akash Anand and the broader interests of BSP and Bahujan movement, he should have taken the decision of retiring from politics earlier.

He alleged that Ashok Siddharth's ambition is still not over. Mayawati said that the flaws in her intentions and ambitions still appear to be intact.

Referring to the ideology of the party, the BSP chief said that staying away from personal and family interests has been the identity of BSP. He said that inspired by the thoughts of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram, the party members should rise above personal interests and lust for position.

Mayawati said that along with a big goal, big sacrifice is also necessary to make the Bahujan community the ruling class.

Akash Anand also targeted

Mayawati also targeted Akash Anand and said that he has a deep affection for his father-in-law Ashok Siddharth. He claimed that Akash did not even repost the post made on his social media account X, which was allegedly to his own interest and political future.

Mayawati said that earlier Akash Anand used to try to show his loyalty by reposting social media posts, but this time it was not done. According to him, this raises the question whether the priority of Akash and Ashok is the party and movement or personal and family interests.

'BSP took both of them from the ground to the sky'

Mayawati said that BSP has given political identity and height to many people including Akash Anand and Ashok Siddharth. He said that no amount of gratitude can be expressed to these people towards the party and its leadership, it will be less.

He said that if Akash Anand gives more importance to relationships and personal relations than the interests of the party and the movement, then it is natural to raise the question that how will he be able to work for the BSP and the Bahujan movement.

After Mayawati's latest statement, the picture regarding the future relations between Akash Anand and BSP seems to be clear to a great extent.
