Meanwhile, 15 people, including Vijay Mallya of Kingfisher Airlines, Nirav Modi of Firestar International and Nitin Sandesara of Sterling Biotech as well as Sterling SEZ, have been declared fugitive economic offenders. These 15 people are accused of defrauding different banks of more than Rs 57,000 crore till October 31 last year.

Some more people are also included in the list of these top 15 criminals. These include Sudarshan Venkatraman and Ramanujam Sesharathinam of Zilog Systems, Nitin Sandesara, Chetan Sandesara and Pushpesh Kumar Baid of Sterling Biotech and others.
