Dembélé joins France’s elite scorers with quickfire Champions League double

There is simply no stopping Ousmane Dembélé when it comes to finding the net in the Champions League.
The France forward struck eight times in Europe’s premier club competition last season and needed very little time to get off the mark in the 2026/27 campaign.
Dembélé scored after only 17 minutes against Slovan Bratislava and then added his second in the middle of the first half.
In doing so, the 29-year-old reached a notable Champions League goals milestone and moved into the company of five French scorers in the competition.
