In the quarter-final match played in Moki, China, India defeated its arch-rival Pakistan in a one-sided fashion by 19-0. During the entire 60 minutes of play, the Indian players maintained such dominance on the field that the Pakistani team could not create a single chance to score a goal. With this huge win, the Indian junior women's hockey team has made it to the semi-finals of the tournament and is eyeing becoming Asian champion for the third consecutive time. Pooja Malik played brilliantly for India and scored three goals in the 27th, 49th and 51st minutes. Chandrakant Sanika Mane, Madhu Sidar, Supriya and Ain Roshni gave the team a strong lead by scoring two goals each.
