Vishal Chaturvedi told that he had removed all the digital devices from his room while writing the story. He neither used a laptop nor a mobile phone. He wrote the entire script by hand, on pen and paper. The film is based on the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba. He said that it took him about 45 days to work on the first scene, while he completed the rest of the story in only 15 to 20 days.

Vishal Chaturvedi had dreamed of converting this story into a film for a long time. He first researched thoroughly, collected many references and brainstormed ideas. When he started writing, he noted everything by hand. Later, he would send photographs of his written pages to his assistant, who would type them in digital form. He believes that by writing by hand, the focus remains completely on the story and there are no distractions.
