Both the motorcycles are designed for daily riding as well as highway touring and mild off-roading. However, both the bikes have their own distinct style in terms of engine, performance, hardware and features. Engine and performance
Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 has a 443 cc air and oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This engine generates maximum power of 25.4 bhp at 6,250 rpm and torque of 34 Newton meters at 4,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

On the other hand, the Yezdi Adventure gets a 334 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This engine produces power of 29.6 bhp at 8,000 rpm and torque of 29.8 Newton meters at 5,800 rpm. It also has a 6-speed gearbox.

On paper, the Yezdi Adventure is more powerful, while the Himalayan 440 has a higher torque output and is available at lower RPM. In such a situation, the torque delivery of Himalayan 440 can be more useful at slow speed, climbing and bad roads. At the same time, the higher power output of Yezdi Adventure on the highway can give better performance at high speed.

Dimensions and Hardware
Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 gets a ground clearance of 220 mm and seat height of 800 mm. It has a 21-inch front wheel, which helps in giving better capability during bad roads and light off-roading. The bike has a 15 liter fuel tank.

Yezdi Adventure also has a ground clearance of 220 mm, while its seat height is 815 mm. It has a fuel tank of 15.5 litres. The bike has a 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup.

Talking about the braking system, Yezdi Adventure has a 320 mm front disc brake, whereas the Himalayan 440 has a 300 mm front disc. Both motorcycles get dual-channel ABS.

Who is ahead in features?
The Yezdi Adventure offers a pretty robust package in terms of features. It has features like traction control, adjustable windscreen, digital instrument cluster and different riding modes. Apart from this, the bike also has 7-step adjustable rear monoshock.

At the same time, features to LED headlight, USB Type-C charging and navigation are available in Himalayan 440. Its focus is on more simple and practical adventure packages.

Another advantage of the Yezdi Adventure is its tubeless spoke wheel option. On long distance touring and bad roads, this setup can prove to be more practical in case of puncture.

How much difference in price?
Talking about the price, the starting ex-showroom price of Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 is Rs 2.29 lakh. Whereas, the starting price of Yezdi Adventure starts from around Rs 2.09 lakh. In this way, based on the starting price, Yezdi Adventure is cheaper by about Rs 20 thousand.

However, the price of Yezdi Adventure may vary due to different variants and wheel options. Therefore, it would be better to check the current price of the concerned variant before purchasing.

Which bike is better for you?
If your priority is low seat height, more low-end torque, a 21-inch front wheel and Royal Enfield’s established Adventure Package, then the Himalayan 440 could be a better option for you.

At the same time, if you want more power, traction control, riding modes and a more feature-loaded package with a lower starting price, then the Yezdi Adventure can be considered.
