The company has officially introduced the new SUV series 'Xiaomi SkyNomad' equipped with technology and advanced features in its domestic market. Under this new range, the company has launched two different series named N70 and N90, under which a total of four different variants will be available to the customers. All these vehicles are part of the 'Range Extender Electric Vehicle' (EREV) category, which can prove to be a great option for those traveling long distances.
The company has launched models like N70 Pro, N70 Max, N90 Max and N90 Max Studio in this lineup. Xiaomi Skynomad's N70 is a 5-seater SUV, while the N90 is designed keeping larger families in mind with a 7-seater configuration.
Talking about performance and battery setup, N70 Pro has front-wheel drive. It has a battery pack of 52kWh capacity, which can cover a distance of about 351 kilometers only on electric mode. At the same time, when its petrol engine and electric motor work together, its total combined range reaches 1351 kilometers. Its second variant N70 Max is equipped with dual motor and all-wheel drive system. It has a large battery of 76kWh, which is capable of giving a range of 505 kilometers in electric mode and 1461 kilometers in combined mode. In terms of size, the length of N70 is 4.96 meters, width is 1.998 meters and wheelbase is 2.950 meters.
The N90 series is most special for those who like big SUVs. Xiaomi SkyNomad N90 Max gets all-wheel drive setup with dual motors. Coming with a 76kWh battery pack, this car runs 464 kilometers on battery alone, while its total claimed range of both petrol and electric goes up to 1705 kilometers. The top speed of this powerful SUV is 190 kilometers per hour. In terms of size, the N90 Max has a length of 5.285 meters, width of 1.998 meters and wheelbase of 3.080 meters. It has a comfortable seating arrangement of 2 + 2 + 3.
The most attention-grabbing variant of this lineup is the N90 Max Studio. In this, the company has provided an electric pop-up roof module, due to which the total height of the car increases to 2294 mm. The biggest feature of this car is that the seats in its second row can be converted into beds in just 30 seconds. This entire mechanism works completely electrically. Apart from this, the cabin of the car has been provided with luxury features like factory-fitted underfloor heating, wood grain aluminum flooring and a large 30-inch projection screen for entertainment.
