A midfielder in the ranks of La Liga giants Real Madrid has come to an agreement with the club over the terms of a fresh long-term contract.
The Blancos player poised to pledge his future to the club in the coming weeks is Arda Güler.
The young Turkey international is currently enjoying an outstanding start to the new season on an individual level. Operating in a central role under new manager José Mourinho, Arda has established himself as a major creative force in the opening weeks of the campaign.
Any uncertainty over how Arda would fit into his new manager’s XI has therefore been swiftly erased, with the 21-year-old now looking set for another rise in output and importance in the weeks and months ahead.
And, as mentioned above, the performances put in by the 21-year-old have clearly not gone unnoticed by those in the boardroom at the Santiago Bernabéu.
According to a report by journalist Fabrizio Romano, citing Spanish outlet Diario AS:
“Arda Güler has agreed to sign new deal at Real Madrid! The agreement is done and set to be announced soon — understand it will be valid until June 2032, six years.”
