Arsenal are set for a run of London derbies during the festive period.

The Premier League has released its fixture list for Christmas and New Year.

English football is well known for continuing through Christmas and New Year without a winter break, and this season follows the same pattern, with matches scheduled across a 12-day spell.

Sky Sports and TNT Sports will share the live broadcast rights for these games, although the balance is weighted heavily towards Sky Sports.

TNT Sports have only two matches during the festive programme, both in their customary Saturday lunchtime slot, with Boxing Day falling on a Saturday this year.

These will not be typical weekends, though, as most of the fixtures have instead been placed into midweek time slots.

There are only three matches on Boxing Day, with the standout tie seeing Manchester City travel to Newcastle in the evening, while Liverpool visit Hull City at tea time.

The next day, Chelsea face Frank Lampard’s Coventry, with the former club legend in the opposition dugout, while Manchester United welcome Nottingham Forest. Arsenal then make the short trip across south London to take on Crystal Palace that evening.

Tottenham meet Roberto De Zerbi’s former club Brighton on December 29, and Manchester City are also back in action that evening away to Everton.

Arsenal stay in the capital for another away match when they visit Fulham on December 30, while Chelsea head to East Anglia to play Ipswich Town.

Manchester City at home to Tottenham on January 3 is arguably the marquee fixture of the entire festive schedule.
