The monsoon is showing signs of renewed activity across several parts of India, bringing another spell of wet weather to regions including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan. A developing low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal is expected to influence weather conditions across eastern, central and northern parts of the country.

According to the weather outlook cited in the report, 18 states and Union Territories could experience heavy rainfall on September 11, 2026. Apart from rain, some areas may also witness thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds.

The changing weather pattern could bring relief from warm and humid conditions in some places, but intense spells of rain may also create local disruptions. Residents in areas covered by weather warnings should therefore keep track of the latest official forecasts, particularly if they are planning to travel.

Delhi-NCR May See Rain and Cloudy Skies

For September 11, the maximum temperature is expected to remain close to 33°C, while the minimum could be around 26°C. The sky is likely to remain generally cloudy, with light rainfall possible at several locations.

The wet spell may not end immediately. Intermittent light to moderate showers are expected in parts of Delhi-NCR between September 11 and September 16.

Weather conditions could become cooler on September 12, when the maximum temperature may drop to around 31°C. Cloudy skies and spells of moderate rain are also possible.

Residents should be prepared for changing road conditions during rainfall, particularly during peak commuting hours.
