Lucknow. Yogi Government is moving forward on the policy of making the education system along with the human resources that give it momentum, efficient and capable. Continuous capacity development of personnel for quality teaching and effective implementation of departmental schemes in schools is now being made an important part of the work culture. In this sequence, through the Mission Karmayogi portal, instructions have been given to all the officers and employees of the Basic and Secondary Education Department to compulsorily complete at least two courses. Especially those personnel who have not yet completed any course or whose courses are incomplete, have been asked to complete the training on priority basis.

As per the instructions of Director General, School Education, Monika Rani, the Head of Office will himself complete the course and will also be responsible for completing the training to all the officers and employees working under him. With this system, emphasis has been laid on taking departmental training to the school level instead of limiting it only to higher offices.

It may be noted that this system of regular training through Mission Karmayogi has emerged as an important initiative towards strengthening the culture of new competencies, efficiency and continuous learning among the personnel of the Education Department.

Training on various dimensions of efficiency

Dr. Mukesh Chandra, Director of State Institute of Educational Technology (SIET) and Nodal of Basic Education of Mission Karmayogi, says that for the convenience of the personnel, six courses have been selected and shared with them. These include 'Screen Time Management and Digital Lifestyle', 'English Vocabulary: Commonly Misused and Confused Words', 'Effective Teaching Methods for Pre-Primary Level', 'Yoga Break at Workplace', 'Stress Management' and 'Basics of Project Management'. The selection of these courses covers different aspects like digital lifestyle, effective learning, stress management and workplace competencies. This will provide the personnel with the opportunity to develop new knowledge and work skills as per their role.

Special emphasis on completing incomplete training

According to the instructions, priority will be given to such personnel who have not yet completed any course or whose courses are incomplete. Heads of offices have been given the responsibility to complete their training on priority basis. In this working culture of Yogi government, learning is being seen as the basis for better implementation. Through Mission Karmayogi, employees are getting the opportunity to continuously update themselves as per the changing requirements.

Capacity development will reach from office to school

As per the instructions, participation of officers and employees will be ensured along with sending the training message to the school level. This will help in connecting human resources working from departmental offices to schools through a common capacity development process.

Minister of State for Basic Education (Independent Charge) Sandeep Singh said that along with strengthening the education system, the Yogi Government is also giving priority to increasing the efficiency and capacity of its human resources. Through Mission Karmayogi, employees are getting the opportunity to continuously learn and develop their work skills. Only efficient and sensitive human resources become the power to effectively deliver the education policies of the government to the ground.

Director General, School Education Monica Rani said that continuous capacity development of departmental personnel is being accelerated through Mission Karmayogi. It is our endeavor that every employee completes the prescribed training and integrates this learning process with his work. Special instructions have been given to give priority to personnel who have incomplete or not yet completed training.
