Indian badminton star PV Sindhu reacted to Anthropic’s latest report highlighting sophisticated attempts to misuse artificial intelligence, expressing both amazement at the technology’s potential and concern over the risks associated with its misuse.
Sindhu took to X to share her thoughts after AI company Anthropic published its detailed threat intelligence report. The report revealed how individuals had attempted to misuse its AI model Claude for cyberattacks, influence operations, surveillance, biological research and weapons development.

“Mind-boggling read. I’m no AI expert. I use it for training, recovery, learning and understanding my performance better,” Sindhu wrote. She added that reading about people attempting to build rockets using AI made her realise the “sheer power” of the technology.
