Business Desk – Share Market Crash: A big fall is being seen in the stock market today i.e. on 11th September. Sensex has fallen by about 700 points to the level of 74,200. At the same time, Nifty has also fallen by about 250 points and is trading around 23,250. The main reasons for the decline in the market are believed to be the rising price of crude oil and weakness in other markets of the world.
The concern of investors has also increased because foreign investors are continuously withdrawing money from the Indian market. On the other hand, the increase in bond returns in America has also increased the pressure on markets like India.

Crude oil crosses 108 dollars, this is where the concern increases
The biggest reasons for the decline in the market include the rising price of crude oil. The price of crude oil has risen nearly 12% in the past week due to the war in the Middle East and attacks on ships in the Red Sea. Now it has crossed $ 108 per barrel.
India imports a major part of its crude oil requirement. In such a situation, the cost of oil has a direct impact on the country's expenditure. Due to this, there is a danger of increase in the prices of petrol and diesel and other things. The fear of rising inflation is not good news for the market. This is why investors are worried about the rise in crude oil.
US bond returns increase, pressure on foreign investors
The 10-year bond yield in America has increased to beyond 4.94%. If you understand in simple language, investors are now getting more returns in American bonds than before.
In such a situation, there may be less interest for foreign investors to invest money in markets like India. They can withdraw money from Indian stocks and invest it in the American market. Its direct impact falls on the Indian stock market.
FII withdrew Rs 438 crore on September 10
Foreign institutional investors i.e. FIIs sold shares worth Rs 438 crore from the Indian market on September 10. However, domestic institutional investors i.e. DIIs are continuously buying and trying to control the market.
In the last 7 days, DII has bought shares worth Rs 4,451 crore. His purchases in the last 30 days have been Rs 68,944 crore. On the other hand, FII/FPI have sold Rs 864 crore in the last 7 days and Rs 10,141 crore in the last 30 days. That means buying by domestic investors is continuing, but continuous selling by foreign investors is weighing heavily on the market.
Asian markets also in red today
Along with the Indian market, other major markets of Asia are also in decline today. South Korea's Kospi is down 179 points or 2.73% at 6,855. Japan's Nikkei is trading at 63,469, down 1,802 points or 2.76%.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng is also down by 242 points or 1.04% at the level of 24,712. That means, not only the Indian market, but there is selling pressure in most of the big markets of Asia today.
American markets also closed down yesterday
Earlier on September 10, America's stock markets were also in decline. Dow Jones fell 317 points or 0.60% to close at 52,064. Nasdaq was down 172 points, or 0.65%, at 26,082. Whereas S&P 500 declined by 45 points or 0.58% and closed at 7,592. The effect of the weakness of the American market is also visible on the Indian market today.
Yesterday Sensex rose 138 points
Earlier on September 10, the market was bullish. The Sensex closed at 74,903, up 138 points. Nifty also rose 46 points to reach 23,478. Maximum buying was seen in banking and media stocks.
But today the market trend has completely changed. The rise in crude oil, increase in US bond yields, selling by foreign investors and weakness in Asian markets have increased the pressure on Sensex-Nifty. Now investors will keep an eye on whether buying in the market returns as the day progresses or the decline deepens.
