Reddy-Dubey beaten badly

Shreyas had to struggle hard to fill the slot of the fifth bowler as all-rounders Shivam Dubey and Nitish Kumar Reddy could not perform as per expectations. Reddy gave away 30 runs in two overs, while Shivam Dubey, who handled the ball in the last over, gave away 21 runs. Abhishek also bowled an over. In this way, all three together gave away 59 runs in their four overs.

Due to the good performance of Arshdeep, Bumrah, Axar Patel and Varun Chakraborty, the poor performance of the fifth bowling options did not cost India much, but the team may have to suffer the consequences in the future.

All worries go away in batting

Talking about Team India's batting, Abhishek removed the doubts arising about his form with his stormy innings. Ishan Kishan, who was in excellent form and avoided a minor back injury suffered during practice, scored 42 runs in 33 balls, which included five fours and a six. Opener Sanju Samson (10), however, will have to play big innings to retain his place in the team.
