The Ambani family celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 in grand style at their Mumbai residence, Antilia, welcoming Ganpati Bappa with traditional rituals, elaborate floral arrangements and dazzling festive decorations.

Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were among the family members seen participating in the celebrations on September 13 as they welcomed the idol, affectionately known as ‘Antilia Cha Raja’.

Pictures and videos from the celebration shared online offered a glimpse of the elaborate setup at the Ambani residence, which was transformed with flowers, warm lights and traditional decorative elements.

Antilia glows with lights and flowers

The entrance and surrounding areas of Antilia were illuminated with thousands of warm lights, creating a striking festive backdrop.

Cascading fairy lights were arranged across the ceilings, while floral motifs and traditional decorative elements added to the celebratory atmosphere. The combination of golden lighting and flowers gave the venue a warm and festive appearance.

The interiors also featured elements inspired by traditional Indian temple architecture. Ornate pillars with floral motifs, carved arches and layered backdrops formed part of the ceremonial setup.

Ochre, terracotta and golden tones dominated the decor, adding to the traditional aesthetic of the celebrations.

Elaborate floral canopies add to the festive look

Floral canopies were another prominent feature of the decorations at Antilia.

Jhumar-inspired structures decorated with red and saffron flowers added colour to the interiors, while hanging floral arrangements further enhanced the festive setting.

The extensive use of marigold flowers and other traditional floral elements gave the celebrations a distinctly Indian festive touch.

Golden backdrop, brass lamps and floral details

At the centre of the celebrations was the idol of Lord Ganesha, placed against an ornate golden backdrop.

Traditional brass lamps and deepams surrounded the ceremonial area, creating a soft glow during prayers and aarti. Marigold garlands and strings of jasmine, or gajras, were also incorporated into the decor.

The seating arrangement around the ceremonial area followed the traditional theme, with ornate wooden chairs and ivory-toned furnishings for family members and guests.

From illuminated ceilings and floral arches to brass lamps and elaborate garlands, every element contributed to the grand festive setting at Antilia.

Nita Ambani, Radhika Merchant join celebrations

Nita Ambani, Radhika Merchant, Anant Ambani and Mukesh Ambani were seen welcoming Ganpati Bappa during the celebrations.

Nita Ambani opted for a vibrant red traditional ensemble paired with statement jewellery, while Radhika Merchant wore a bright orange embroidered ethnic outfit with traditional accessories.

The family came together for the festive rituals, adding to the celebratory atmosphere as Antilia welcomed ‘Antilia Cha Raja’ for Ganesh Chaturthi.

The grand decorations and traditional rituals once again made the Ambani residence a visual highlight of the festival, with glimpses of the celebrations quickly circulating online.
