Health Desk. Many times our body starts giving early signals about some health problem. Often people ignore fatigue, weight change or other persistent problems considering them normal. But if any change persists for a long time or appears repeatedly, then it is better to consult a doctor and get necessary health checkups done.
1. Constant fatigue and weakness
If you feel tired, weak or lethargic all the time despite getting enough sleep, do not ignore it. The reason behind this could be anemia, lack of nutrition, thyroid or other health problems.
2. Sudden weight gain or loss
Rapid weight gain or loss without any change in diet or exercise can be a sign of some problem in the body. If such a condition persists, medical examination is necessary.
3. Frequent headaches or dizziness
An occasional headache may be normal, but persistent or unusual headaches and frequent dizziness should be investigated. There can be many different reasons for this.
4. Trouble breathing
Shortness of breath with little exertion or difficulty breathing for no apparent reason is also a sign to pay attention to. Especially if it is accompanied by chest pain or dizziness, seek medical help immediately.
5. Frequent changes in sleep and digestion
Prolonged poor sleep, persistent constipation, diarrhea, stomach pain or unusual changes in appetite should also not be ignored. If needed, the doctor can advise appropriate tests.
When to be more cautious?
None of these symptoms automatically confirm any disease. But if the problem is persistent, increasing or is affecting daily activities, then it is wise to consult a doctor and get necessary tests done. Many health problems can be identified at an early stage with timely screening.
