Vrindavan: In a horrific road accident that took place on Monday morning near Vatsalya village on the Mathura-Vrindavan road, a speeding tourist bus coming from the wrong side crushed a scooty rider. In the accident, the scooter rider died tragically on the spot. Angered by the incident, family members and villagers blocked the road by placing the dead body on the road demanding compensation. On information, police forces from three police stations reached the spot and tried to convince the villagers. When things did not work out, the police removed the crowd using mild force, sent the body for post-mortem and made the traffic smooth.

Kishan died after being hit by a speeding bus

The deceased in the accident has been identified as Kishan (40), son of Harprasad, resident of Akrur village. It was told that Kishan was going towards Vrindavan on Scooty on Monday morning. Meanwhile, the speeding tourist bus number UP25GT2529 coming on the wrong side from Pagalbaba temple hit him. The collision with the bus was so severe that Kishan died on the spot. As soon as information about the incident was received, the family members and a large number of villagers of Akrur village reached the spot.

Villagers blocked the road demanding financial help

Deceased's nephew Dinesh told that Kishan used to support his family by running a vegetable shop at Papdi intersection. The financial condition of his family is very weak. Kishan left behind four daughters and a son. The sudden death of the head of the family has brought great sorrow to the family. Angry family members and villagers blocked the Mathura-Vrindavan road by placing the dead body on the road, demanding immediate financial assistance from the administration to the victim's family. Within no time, long queues of vehicles formed on both sides and a tense situation arose at the spot.

Police opened the way using mild force

As soon as information about the jam and uproar was received, the police forces of Vrindavan, Jaint and Govind Nagar police stations immediately reached the spot. Police officers tried to get the jam cleared by convincing the villagers, but when people did not agree, the police used mild force to remove the crowd. After this, the body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem through ambulance and the traffic on the route was normalized.

Legal action will be taken on the complaint of family members

CO Vrindavan Sandeep Singh said that on Monday morning Kishan, a resident of Akrur village, was going towards Vrindavan on a scooty. Meanwhile, a bus coming from the opposite direction hit him, due to which he died. He said that the police's full sympathies are with the victim's family. A complaint is being filed by the family members, on the basis of which necessary legal action will be taken immediately. Also, every effort will be made by the government and administration to provide the benefits of government schemes to the victim's family.
