Technology Desk: Vivo has launched its new true wireless earphones Vivo Buds in the Indian market. The company has introduced these under its IoT segment. These earbuds have features like up to 50 hours of battery, Spatial Audio, AI Call Noise Cancellation and low-latency gaming.

The price of Vivo Buds has been kept at Rs 1,999. Its sale has started from September 10. Customers can buy them from Vivo India e-store, Flipkart and select retail stores. The earbuds are available in Nilgiri Green and Basalt Black colors.

Up to 50 hours of battery

The most special thing about Vivo Buds is its battery. The earbuds claim to offer up to 50 hours of total playback with the charging case. At the same time, once fully charged, music can be listened to for 12 hours from the earbuds.

According to the company, just 10 minutes of quick charging can provide about 4 hours of music playback. It is claimed to provide up to 7 hours of talk time on a single charge for calling.

10mm drivers and custom EQ

For sound, Vivo Buds has a 10mm high-resolution speaker driver. The company has used PU and high-rigidity PEEK material in it. It is claimed to provide better sound detail and less distortion. Sound effects like Mega Bass, Clear Voice and Clear High Pitch are available in earbuds. Apart from this, 10-band customizable EQ is also provided, through which users can set the sound as per their choice.

Spatial Audio support

Spatial Audio feature is also available in Vivo Buds. It has four modes like Theatre, Concert Hall, Studio and Live Concert. However, to use this feature, a compatible Vivo device will be required.

Calling will be better with AI

Dual-Mic AI Call Noise Cancellation has been provided in the earbuds to reduce the surrounding noise during calling. According to the company, with the help of AI and deep learning technology, it helps in keeping the sound clearer by identifying the surrounding noise.

The company says that this system helps in reducing sounds like horns and wind. It also has a Cross-Flow Duct Design, which works to reduce wind noise.

42ms latency for gaming

For users who like gaming, Vivo Buds has been provided with 42ms Gaming Latency. For connectivity, Bluetooth 6.1 and Multipoint Connection is available. With its help, users can connect two devices simultaneously.

Each earbud weighs about 3.8 grams and has an IP54 rating. Earbuds can be used with Vivo phones through OriginOS. It does not require any third-party app and users can use features like Audio Control, EQ and Spatial Audio.
