Karnataka BJP will run 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' from September 17 to October 17 to mark the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public life. There will be 12 events across the state, including service activities, student competitions, trips and innovation programs.
Bengaluru: Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organize a month-long 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' in the state to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's completion of 25 years in public life. Karnataka BJP President B.Y. Vijayendra said on Saturday that this campaign will run from September 17 to October 17 and under this, 12 different programs will be organized across the state.
Campaign started on request of Nitin Nabin
Addressing a press conference at Jagannath Bhawan, the state BJP headquarters in Bengaluru, B.Y. Vijayendra gave information about the campaign. He said that following the request of BJP national president Nitin Nabin, 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' will be organized in Karnataka.
According to Vijayendra, the aim of the campaign is to connect the occasion of 25 years of public life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with service and public participation. Under this, the party will organize various activities from booth level to homes across the state.
A total of 12 different programs have been included in the campaign. These also include programs to social service, awareness, student participation, information about government schemes and innovation.
Programs will be held from booth level to door to door
Karnataka BJP President said that programs will be organized at every booth in the state during the campaign. Along with this, activities will also be conducted at door-to-door level to reach out to people and families.
He said that 'Aashirwad Deep' program will also be a part of the campaign. Through this, emphasis will be laid on increasing people's participation in the campaign.
The party has linked various programs of this campaign to different topics, so that the message to the public life of Prime Minister Modi and the schemes of the Central Government can be spread to a wide level.
Participation of students in 'Dream of India'
Under the campaign, 'India's Dream' i.e. 'Bharatada Kanasu' program will be organized. In this, painting and speech competitions will be organized for the students.
Through these competitions, students will be given an opportunity to express their thoughts on topics to the country's future, development and their dreams.
According to BJP, participation of youth and students has also been given important place in the campaign. 'National Innovation Challenge' will be organized in Bengaluru, in which students, IT sector professionals and startup entrepreneurs can participate.
Message of change from 'Namo Seva Street Play'
Vijayendra told that 'Namo Seva Street Play' program will also be organized. Its objective is to convey the changes taking place in the country to the people through theatrical presentation.
There is a plan to convey the party's message about the work of the central government and the changes in the country among the common people through street play.
Apart from this, 'Anganwadi Milan' program will also be organized. This program will focus on increasing people's participation and connectivity at the Anganwadi level.
Mention of schemes in the 'story of change'
There will be another program in the campaign named 'Badlav Ki Kahani' i.e. 'Badlavaneya Kathe'. According to Vijayendra, it will highlight various schemes launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government and the people who will benefit from them.
Through this program, there is a plan to present the impact of government schemes and the experiences of the beneficiaries before the people.
BJP says that providing information about various welfare schemes of the Central Government to the general public will be a major part of the campaign.
'Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra' and 'Seva Jyoti Yatra'
'Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra' and 'Seva Jyoti Yatra' will also be organized in Karnataka under 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan'.
Vijayendra said that a special yatra will also be taken out as part of this campaign running across the country. In this journey, holy water will be collected from various rivers of the country and taken to Varanasi.
This program is included in those parts of the campaign in which there is a plan to connect different regions and religious-cultural symbols of the country.
25 service activities in 'Service is my contribution'
The eighth program of the campaign has been named 'Seveye Nanna Koduge' i.e. 'Service is my contribution'. Under this, 25 service based activities will be organized.
These activities include blood donation camps, plantation drives, cleanliness programmes, health camps and plastic awareness campaigns.
Apart from this, awareness programs regarding cyber security will also be organized. In this way, different social issues like health, environment, cleanliness and digital security have been included in this program.
According to the party, through these activities, efforts will be made to increase people's participation in service work at the local level.
Information about schemes from 'Seva Setu Abhiyaan'
Under 'Seva Setu Abhiyan', information about various welfare schemes of the Central Government will be made available to the people.
Vijayendra said that through this program, eligible beneficiaries will also be provided assistance in registering for government schemes.
The objective of this initiative is to reach information about the schemes to those people who, despite being eligible, do not have sufficient knowledge about various government schemes or want assistance in the process of registration.
'Rangoli Nation' and National Innovation Challenge
A program named 'Rangoli Rashtra' will also be organized during the campaign. Along with this, there will be 'National Innovation Challenge' in Bengaluru.
Along with students, IT professionals and startup entrepreneurs will also be given an opportunity to participate in this challenge. Through this, efforts will be made to give a platform to technology, innovation and new ideas.
Given the strong presence of the IT and startup sector in Bengaluru, this program has been placed as an important part of the campaign.
Elected representatives will participate in 'Jan Sevak Mahakumbh'
The 12th program of the campaign will be 'Jan Sevak Mahakumbh'. There will be participation of elected representatives from Panchayat level to Parliament.
Vijayendra said that everyone from elected representatives of local bodies and panchayats to MPs will be included in this programme.
With this, there is a plan to connect the campaign from the grassroots level to the national level elected representatives.
The campaign will run for a month
According to Karnataka BJP, 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' will start from September 17 and continue till October 17. Over a period of one month, the party will organize different programs involving booth level, families, students, social organizations and elected representatives.
The 12 programs of the campaign range from service activities to information about government schemes, student competitions, street plays, trips and innovation programs.
The campaign, organized to mark 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public life, will be a part of the BJP's broader organizational and public relations programs in Karnataka. According to the information given by State BJP President Vijayendra, the party's focus during this period will be on taking the campaign across the state through service activities and participation of various sections.
