UPI is so convenient and secure that millions of people are using it in India and its demand is increasing internationally as well.
In India, there are many UPI apps that people use for different purposes. These apps are also used for mobile recharge.
Now, if you recharge your mobile using the UPI app, you should know that the company charges you a convenience fee.
If you recharge through Google Pay, you will have to pay one extra rupee on recharge of ₹100, two rupees on recharge of ₹200 and three rupees extra on recharge of ₹300.

Similarly, if you use Paytm for recharging, you may have to pay a convenience fee of two to three rupees.
PhonePe and other UPI apps also charge a similar convenience fee, which can range from Rs 3 to Rs 6.
