Aadhaar Card Update Free: A special campaign is being run by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to update Aadhaar. Its objective is to encourage people to keep the information updated on Aadhaar. According to the information given by UIDAI, it is mandatory for those people who have not made any changes to their Aadhaar card in the last 10 years to keep the information updated. Those people can easily go to the Aadhaar portal and get their Aadhaar updated for free till 14th March.
You can easily change your photo, address, gender, name, date of birth address, etc. in your Aadhar card. You can also change the mobile number and email linked to Aadhaar.
How to update Aadhar card online
- First of all, you have to go to the Aadhaar website.
- Now you log in through OTP.
- After this, your information will be out.
- Update the information you need to change.
- Now put the proof and submit it.
- You will not have to pay anything as there is no charge.
- You can update information online only where demographic updates are not required.
How to update Aadhaar offline
You can easily update your Aadhaar offline. For this, you will have to go to the nearest Aadhaar center. To update Aadhaar offline, you will have to pay a fee of Rs 50.
In how many days is the information updated?
According to the information, if all the information given by you is correct then the information is updated within 30 days of applying. At the same time, you can also check your application with the acknowledgment number received while updating Aadhaar.
