According to the new update, a new option appears in the storage settings in the beta version of WhatsApp which allows setting the default media upload quality. This means you do not need to make settings for different files. Media quality feature remains present in the update.

However, you can still easily send HD photos in WhatsApp, for that you will have to follow some steps.

First of all, you can select the relevant photo by clicking on the camera icon and at the top you will see the HD option and after clicking there, your image will be uploaded in HD.

If you do not click the HD option for individual photos, then that image is sent by default.
