In a horrific crime, a retired colonel’s wife was murdered at their house in Sector 2, Panchkula on Wednesday afternoon. Three unidentified assailants attacked the retired Col RK Sharma, his wife, Sushila and their caretaker, Ramkali with sharp objects between 12:14 pm and 1:19 pm, leading to Sushila’s death. The retired army officer from the EME regiment and the caretaker suffered grievous injuries. The 87-year-old colonel, who suffers from Parkinson’s, is undergoing a surgery at the Ojas Hospital.
