UIDAI extended the date of the free Aadhaar Card update. Earlier its deadline was 14 March 2024, which has now been extended to 14 June 2024.
Today UIDAI has posted on Twitter that it has extended the date for free Aadhaar card updation from March 14 to June 14.
What can be updated online?
Many Aadhaar users have not updated their Aadhaar card for 10 years. In such a situation, UIDAI gave the facility to all users to update their Aadhaar for free.
The facility of free update of the Aadhaar card will be available to the user on myAadhaar portal. Online users can update demographic data for free. Whereas for biometric updates like fingerprint scans, the user will have to go to the Aadhaar center. To update the Aadhaar card, the user will have to go to the Aadhaar center and pay a charge.
Let us tell you that there is a charge of Rs 50 for every update.
Update Aadhaar online like this
You have to go to the UIDAI website.
After this, you have to select the option of Aadhaar update.
Now enter the registered mobile number and OTP.
After this click on the option for document update.
Aadhaar-related information will be shown on the screen.
After this verify all the details and upload the document.
Now Submit for Aadhar Card Update.
After this, you will get 14 number Update Request Number (URN). You can easily track Aadhaar updates with this number.
