WhatsApp has introduced a chat filter feature that will help users find a specific chat. Let us know about this feature.

WhatsApp Chat Filter Feature: Instant messaging app WhatsApp keeps rolling out features that double the user experience. Now the company has also introduced Chat Filter feature which has been made available to some selected beta testers. Currently this feature has been made available for Android WhatsApp 2.23.14.17. In this, some such filters will be provided through which users will reach a specific chat immediately and there will be no need to scroll through the chats.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, this feature has been made available only to some selected users for testing. This will be available only to those users who are part of the Google Beta Test Program. There are three filters in this new feature which include all, unread and group. As the name suggests, if you select all then you will see all the chats on WhatsApp. If you select unread, only those chats will be visible which have not been opened yet. If you select group then all group chats will be visible.

Along with this feature, WhatsApp has also provided Locked Chats feature. It has been introduced only a few months ago. There is also an option to access archive chat. Along with this, there is also the option of status and community. Let us tell you that locked chats can be accessed through fingerprint, face recognition and pin code.

WhatsApp is working on another new security feature in which an end-to-end encrypted banner will appear with a padlock icon. This will be given below the username. It has been made available for user security. Apart from this, WhatsApp had released an update for iOS in which the copy-paste button was fixed.
