This is in response to a story stating that WhatsApp Android beta version 2.24.4.25 was the first to deliver the functionality. A message that reads, “Can’t take a screenshot due to app restrictions,” appears when you try to take a screenshot.

It may be one of the most important safety elements, and users are unable to disable or modify the function using the instant messaging program. On Facebook, a similar program known as Profile Picture Guard prevents users from capturing screenshots of images.
