Free Aadhaar Update: UIDAI has once again extended the deadline for free Aadhaar card update. UIDAI (UIDAI Free Aadhaar Update) post on x Kar said that the facility of free online document uploading is being extended till June 14, 2024. This free service will be available on myAadhaar portal. UIDAI wants people to update their Aadhaar documents.

How to update online? (How to Update Aadhaar Card Details Online?)

• MyAadhaar Portal (https://uidai.gov.in/en/my-aadhaar/update-aadhaar.html) and log in with your Aadhaar number.
• Select “Proceed to Update Address” and enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
• Click on “Document Update” and verify your existing details.
• Select whatever document you want to update (proof of identity or proof of address) and upload the scanned copy.
• Click on “Submit”
• You will receive a 14 digit Update Request Number (URN) to track the status of the update.

How to upload address proof? (How to Upload Address Proof Online?)

• Official UIDAI Update Portal Go to.
• Log in and select “Name/Gender/Date of Birth and Address Update”.
• Click on “Update Aadhaar Online”.
• Select the 'Address' option and proceed by clicking on 'Proceed to update Aadhaar'.
• Upload the scanned copy of your address proof and enter the required demographic details.

Free service available only on online updates

Please note that you will get the facility of free Aadhaar update only on online update. If you go to the Aadhaar center to update Aadhaar, you will have to pay a fee.
