Badaun. In Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, a hair-cutting fanatic killed two children on Tuesday. After this, the police also killed the accused in an encounter.

Bareilly IG Rakesh Kumar said that two children were murdered in Badaun. Police arrived on information of murder. The police tried to catch the criminal on the spot. But the criminal opened fire on the police. In defense, the police opened fire, resulting in the death of the criminal.

He said that details are being collected about this criminal. Two children were playing on the terrace. The criminal has murdered those children. Action is being taken.

Vinod Kumar and his wife Sangeeta live in Baba Colony of Badaun. Sangeeta has a parlor below her house. She was alone at home with her three children. Whereas, Javed and Sajid run a salon opposite. Both of them often had fights with Vinod’s family. People nearby told that on Tuesday evening, Sajid and Javed reached Vinod’s house and went straight to the second floor and attacked Vinod’s three sons with a razor. Vinod’s two children died in this. Whereas, the third son Piyush is slightly injured. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Mother Sangeeta was in the parlor during this incident. After the screams, people reached upstairs. Meanwhile, the accused fled away after committing the incident. Tension has spread in the area after the incident. Neighbors told that they reached there when there was an outcry in Vinod’s house over the murder of two children. Javed remained standing near the door, the police who came on phone call took him to Mandi Chowki. A crowd of dozens of people gathered in the area. After this, sloganeering and stone pelting started at Javed’s shop. Vandalism was done. A shop some distance away was burnt.

When the police dispersed the crowd from there, people blocked the Dataganj road. The uproar could be stopped by deploying a large number of PAC, police and paramilitary forces. After the uproar, DM Manoj Kumar and SSP Alok Priyadarshi reached the spot. Instructions have been given to register an FIR on the complaint of Vinod, the father of the deceased children.

Earlier, the family of the deceased had created a ruckus for the arrest of the murder accused. There was a fight with the family of the accused and the salon was set on fire. To handle the tense situation in the area, the police captain reached the area along with paramilitary forces. After pacifying the family, the search for the accused was started. ADG, IG and Mandla Commissioner DM also reached the spot.

On getting information about the incident, ADG PC Meena, IG Range Dr Rakesh Singh, SSP Alok Piyadarshi, DM Manoj Kumar and forces of many police stations reached. With great difficulty the police took possession of the dead bodies and sent them for post-mortem. The police surrounded and killed the accused in an encounter. Police is investigating all aspects.
