In the latest update, information was received that the company is working on a new way to manage channels.

With its help, you will be able to auto-delete channel media from your device. This feature will be introduced in the coming time.

How will this auto-delete feature work?
The new report also explains how this feature will work. Once the feature is launched, you will see a new section called ‘Channel Settings’.

With its help, users can choose whether images and videos shared in the channel should be automatically deleted from the device.

Currently, users do not have this feature as its setting is set to Never by default. This can fill up users' storage quickly.

Apart from this, a white top app bar appears in it, which gives WhatsApp users control over how long any media will remain on their device.
