It is said that on the instructions of the court, the girl's mother had applied to register an FIR for the kidnapping of her daughter at Laheriasarai police station on July 11, 2018. But the police finally registered the FIR on 9 December 2022. In the FIR lodged, the girl's mother had named five people including her lover as accused. Not only this, in this FIR the police were also accused of collusion. In the FIR registered regarding the case, it was clearly stated that with the connivance of the police, his daughter had been murdered by making him disappear from the police station, hence the restlessness of the police had increased only after this.

According to the information, the matter got entangled when the police station recovered the girl, got her medically examined and kept her in Laheriasarai police station so that her statement could be recorded in the court the next day. But the girl suddenly disappeared from the police station premises. The police had to work hard regarding this matter. The police was not able to find any trace of the two lovers. The girl was recovered from her lover's house i.e. from her in-laws where she has now become the mother of two children. The police arrested the lover and girlfriend late at night and brought them to the police station and interrogated them. In this regard, Sadar DSP Amit Kumar said that this matter came to light after a long time. Regarding the incident, he told that a minor girl had run away from the police station with her lover. The victim's mother had lodged an FIR regarding this matter on May 4, 2018. The police took action and recovered him on 29 May 2018 and after undergoing medical examination, he was kept in Laheriasarai police station. But the girl ran away from there with her lover.
