But later it was increased. Now this service is available for free till June 14, 2024. After this, money will have to be paid to update Aadhaar.

 The Aadhar card is an important document issued by the government. From buying a SIM card to opening a new bank account, it is needed in everything and in such a situation, if it is not updated then it cannot be yours. Therefore Aadhaar should always be kept updated.

UIDAI has asked to update the 10-year-old Aadhar card. At present, this facility is available for free. If your Aadhar card is 10 years old then you should update it immediately.

The first date for the free Aadhaar update was March 14. But later it was increased. Now this service is available for free till June 14, 2024. Update Aadhaar like this for free

-First of all, go to uidai.gov.in/en/my-aadhaar/update-aadhaar.

-A section of My Aadhaar will be found in the home page menu, in which you have to tap on the option of document update.

-Now the Aadhar card number and captcha have to be filled again. After this, OTP will be sent to the registered number.

-Now after verifying the details, you have to tap on the next option.

-After this there will be an option to upload supporting documents. After uploading the document, you will go to the next page.

-You can submit after reviewing the details on this page. After submission, an SRN will come to your mail. With which we will be able to track it.

-It takes at least 7 days for an Aadhaar card to be updated.
