WhatsApp has a new sidebar feature; How to use?

WhatsApp is testing the updated sidebar feature. With this, facilities such as shade, status, communities are given as separate icons on the left side of the site.
This feature is currently being tested. The beta version is offered to users on a trial basis.
The updated sidebar features profile picture and settings options at the bottom left. All such icons are provided for the convenience of the users. WhatsApp features are being brought in for ease of use. This is especially to be brought to the WhatsApp web version.
