Due to this the government has now set June 14, 2024, as the last date, here's how you can do it for free.

Steps to update Aadhaar for free:

Visit the official UIDAI website:

Start by visiting the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), uidai.gov.in/en.

Select “Update Aadhaar” option:

On the website, find the “Update Aadhaar” option and click on it.

Login with Aadhar Number and OTP:

Enter your Aadhaar number and proceed to log in by verifying through OTP.

Verify Documents:

Once logged in, proceed to verify your documents by clicking on the appropriate option.

Upload scanned copies:

Next, upload the scanned copies of your identity card and address proof from the dropdown menu given.

Submit Form:

After uploading the required documents click on submit button to complete the form.

Note the request number:

Upon submission, you will receive a unique request number. Make sure to save this number for future reference.

Check status:

You can use the request number to check the status of your Aadhaar update, ensuring that the process is completed successfully.
