Ranveer singh action on deepfake video: In the age of technology, while on one hand man is growing a lot, on the other hand many challenges are also emerging. Besides, they are also becoming quite dangerous and controlling them has emerged as a big challenge in the present times. Deepfake videos from Katrina Kaif to Rashmika Mandanna have surfaced and Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has expressed concern about them. Recently, amid the elections, a video of Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh surfaced in which he is seen campaigning for a political party. But this is a deepfake video. Now Ranveer has taken action against this fake video.
Taking action against this deepfake video, Ranveer Singh has lodged an FIR. Ranveer Singh's spokesperson has confirmed that a police complaint has been filed on this deepfake video and now the Cyber Crime Cell will investigate the matter. Issuing the statement, Ranveer Singh's spokesperson said - Yes, we have lodged a complaint with the police and an FIR has been registered against the handle which was promoting the AI-generated deepfake video of Mr Ranveer Singh.
