Instant messaging platform WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is reportedly developing a new feature that will enable users to conveniently add, rearrange, and delete their “favourite” contacts and groups directly from the app settings. This functionality is slated for release in an upcoming update. The primary objective behind this feature seems to be to streamline the task of organising and overseeing favourite contacts and groups within the calls tab.
