Apart from this, WhatsApp is planning to add a verified badge directly to the channel list. Please note that this feature is not in the current version of the app. The redesigned channels section is now placed at the bottom of the list. This will also make it easier for users to find and follow content.

Apart from this, WhatsApp is working on a feature that will allow users to perform bulk actions on multiple channels simultaneously, like muting, marking read or pinning them.

These updates are expected to improve the way users interact with channels on WhatsApp. For example, the new Bulk Actions feature will simplify the way users manage their channel interactions, allowing them to quickly mute or unmute multiple channels at once.
