
Harsh, a student of Patna Law College, was brutally beaten to death on Monday, May 25. When Harsh was coming out after giving the exam, 12-15 boys surrounded him and started beating him. These boys kept beating Harsh until he died.
The police has arrested the accused Chandan Yadav in this case. The police is trying to get to the bottom of the matter by interrogating the accused. Meanwhile, the news is also gaining momentum that the deceased had received death threats two weeks ago. The death of the youth in this manner had shocked the entire country.
Threat was received at NIT Ghat
The deceased Harsh was a resident of Vaishali. Initial investigation has revealed that 14 days ago he had received death threats at NIT Ghat in Patna. According to the information, 5-6 boys from Patel hostel were at NIT Ghat. Harsh had reached there with his friend. After some time, an argument broke out between Harsh and the boys of the hostel. The people present on the spot intervened and chased everyone away from there. While leaving, the boys of Patel hostel had threatened Harsh to see him later. After his murder, the threat is emerging as a strong point.
There was a clash earlier too
According to the report, the connection of the threat received by Harsh is old. Harsh had organized a dandiya program in October 2023. During that time, there was a dispute between the boys of two hostels over climbing the stage. In this, the head of a youth from Patel hostel was broken. It is being speculated that the threat received 14 days ago is connected to this incident.
The accused was campaigning for the grand alliance
Accused Chandan Yadav is a journalism student at Patna University. He was active in student politics along with his studies. He is currently the vice-president of the student organization AISA in Patna University. He has been living in the Jackson Hostel of the university for two years. His pictures have also surfaced campaigning for the Mahagathbandhan candidate in the Lok Sabha elections. He was also present in the Mahagathbandhan's Jan Vishwas Maharally held at Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
