Patna: On Tuesday, the main suspect in the death of Harsh Raj, a student at B N College in Patna, was taken into custody. According to the police, the culprit is Chandan Kumar, a Patna College final-year student.
During questioning, Chandan admitted to his crime, according to City SP (East) Bharat Soni. “He had hatched the plan to kill Raj over an old enmity between two students’ groups,” he said.
In the Patna Law College parking lot on Monday, ten to fifteen young people wearing masks beat the 22-year-old final-year student to death.
The remaining criminals, some of whom are students at Patna University, have been identified by the police. To find the others, raids are being carried out in Patna and other regions. According to the SP, their criminal background is also being investigated.
