Meta-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp launched a privacy feature a few months ago called IP Protect. This feature protects your IP address from leaking during WhatsApp calling. This feature creates a connection between WhatsApp servers and not between two devices during calls, which maintains privacy. You should also turn on this feature so that your privacy is also maintained.
How to turn on the WhatsApp IP Protect feature
First, open the WhatsApp app.
After this, go to Settings.
After this, go to the Privacy section.
Now click on the Advanced Settings option.
After this, click on the Protect IP address in the calls option and turn it on.
Benefits of WhatsApp IP Protect feature

The IP address does not leak.
No one can snoop on your calls.
The location cannot leak.
Since calling is done from WhatsApp servers, security is better.
