Pramod Patil, Uran:  A five-month-old baby girl who was sleeping in her mother's lap was grabbed by her abusive father and slammed on the ground. An incident of death of a child has taken place in this. The incident took place at Bokadvira in Uran on Sunday. In this case, the police have arrested the murderous father and a case has been registered against him. Police are further investigating the matter.
The information received in this regard is that Amuta Khushiram Thakur along with her husband Khushiram Gajanan Thakur has been living in a rented room in Bokadvira Gram Panchayat for some days. They had a daughter five months ago. Her name was Ruhi. Amuta and Khushiram got into a fight on Sunday afternoon due to some reasons. So Amuta took her five-month-old Ruhi and went to the neighbouring relatives.
An enraged Khushiram Thakur reached the relative's house after his wife went to a relative with their infant daughter. There he argued with his wife Amuta saying 'Give me my daughter'. The mother resisted giving her little one. Then Khushi Ram grabbed Ruhi. He then tackled the toddler to the ground.
Five-month-old Ruhi suffered severe head injuries when she hit the ground. She died in this. Relatives and citizens of the area expressed their anger as the murderous father killed the child. The incident was reported to Uran police. The police rushed to the spot and arrested the accused Khushiram Gajanan Thakur. A case has been registered against him.
