
A case of sextortion has come to light from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. In this case, a woman lured a businessman of the city into her love and kidnapped him by calling him to Delhi. With the help of her husband and friends, she demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh from his son. When she did not get the money, she killed him and threw his body in the drain. After committing the crime, all the accused left for the Char Dham Yatra.
To uncover the incident, the police had to take the help of 300 CCTV cameras. The police had to search 14 drains to find the body. Jaipur's Galtagate police station has arrested four accused involved in the incident. At the same time, 2 accused are still away from the police's custody, who are being searched. The police raided 4 states to catch the accused.
The businessman had a love affair with the woman
According to the police, Galtagate resident Piyush Dilip Sanwaria used to do business of e-rickshaw batteries. He was in a love affair with a woman named Anjali Soni. She was living with her husband Pradeep Goswami on Satyam Marg in Ganeshpuri Colony. Her husband drives an e-rickshaw and hails from Morena, Madhya Pradesh. Dilip was in a relationship with Anjali for several months. He had borrowed 30 thousand rupees from Dilip. Anjali was fed up with him. She, along with her husband and friends, made a plan to kidnap him and demand ransom.
Kidnapped after being called to Delhi
Police said that as per the plan, Anjali called Dilip and asked him to meet her in Delhi. At first Dilip refused to come. Later he left for Delhi. Dilip's son Piyush Sanwaria gave a complaint to the police and told that his father left home on the night of May 20 saying that he was going to Faridabad. There was no contact with him for 7 days. He was searched at many places but he was not found. On the morning of May 28, he received a WhatsApp message from his father's number on his mobile. When he opened it, it had a photo of his father with his hands and legs tied and his mouth taped. Then he was asked to pay Rs 50 lakh as ransom over the call.
This is how the police got a clue
As soon as the complaint was received, the police started the investigation. Dilip's mobile was traced. His call details were taken out, in which the police got clues about the conversation with Anjali. The last location of Dilip's mobile was found in Kanota area near Jaipur. Apart from this, his location was also found in Delhi. Meanwhile, Anjali's location was also found in Delhi. When the police searched for Anjali and her husband, they were missing.
Police team left for Delhi
A police team was sent to Delhi to solve the case. Based on the location, the police searched around 300 CCTV cameras for 4 days. The police got some clues. On searching a flat, evidence of murder was found there. Some informers were also deployed in this case. They informed that Anjali and her husband along with their associates murdered Dilip.
The accused left for Chardham
To save himself, he left for the Char Dham Yatra. Police arrested Anjali and her husband on the basis of mobile location. Both were questioned. According to police disclosure, Anjali confessed to the crime and said that she was fed up with Dilip. On May 3, she came to Delhi with her husband. They planned to kidnap Dilip with their accomplices Manish, Mukesh, Vijay and Santosh Kumar. Anjali called Dilip on May 20 and called him to Delhi. As soon as he reached Delhi, the accused held him hostage.
On 21 May, Anjali and her husband came to Jaipur. Anjali told the police that Vijay came to Jaipur with her two days later and he told that Dilip had been murdered. He also told that his body was thrown in the drain. The police also arrested the accused Vijay and Santosh. The police recovered the body of the deceased Dilip from the drain.
