WhatsApp Upcoming Feature: Instant messaging app WhatsApp keeps working on doubling the experience of its users. The company keeps introducing some feature or the other that makes the user’s work easier. The biggest problem people face is transferring chats from one device to another. But now the company is going to make this problem easier as well.
WhatsApp is working on a feature in which chats can be easily transferred from an old device to a new device by just scanning a QR code. This has always been a time-consuming process which is now going to be a piece of cake.
Use QR code to transfer WhatsApp chat:
If you are fed up with chats getting deleted again and again, then this feature will prove useful for you. You just have to scan a QR code from your old phone to the new phone. As soon as you do this, the chats will start getting transferred. This will also eliminate the need for Google Drive.
According to a report, this feature was spotted on Android’s beta version 2.24.9.19. Work is still going on on this feature and no information has been given about when it will be introduced. But whenever this feature comes, it will be very useful for the users. Especially those who are going to switch from old phone to new phone. At the same time, it will also be interesting to see whether this feature will work on iPhone to Android or Android to iPhone or not.
Apart from these, work is also being done on many other features which include linked device chat lock, video in status and animated images.
