Jamui: Jamui Crime: A woman and her six-year-old son were murdered while sleeping in the Chakai police station area of Jamui district of Bihar. Police have taken the deceased's husband into custody and are interrogating him. A police officer said on Friday that a woman and her six-year-old son were murdered late Thursday night in Paranchi village.
Wife and child murdered at 2.30 in the night
The deceased have been identified as Mahesh Das's wife Sunita Devi (30) and son Hrithik of the same village. It is said that other family members slept on the roof of the house, while Mahesh Das slept with his wife and son in a room of the house. According to family members, at around 2.30 in the night, Mahesh Das started shouting that someone had murdered his wife and child.
